Looking for acoustic guitars in Hayward WI?

November 30th, 2009

Hey just me again,

Just received two acoustic guitars today. An Hohner acoustic/electric in a beautiful wine color and a Oscar Schmidt spruce top acoustic. The Oscar Schmidt makes a great beginner or intermediate guitar. It’s set up nice and plays beautifully! Great full-bodied tone.

The Hohner is gorgeous. A mahogany neck and body done in wine red with a Fishman Ion pickup and built-in tuner. It plays really nice, sounds fantastic and will make a great performing guitar.

We have padded bags or hard shell cases for either guitar and an assortment of tuners, picks, straps and other musical instruments.

Woodbury Music Company is open Thursday – Saturday, 10am to 5pm at the Pavilion, right downtown Hayward WI. You can call anytime and we can meet with you in the Hayward WI area if you would like.

That’s it for now. Take care and rock on!

Your guide to finding healthcare information

January 10th, 2007

By Dakota Caudilla

The Internet is a wealthy source of information and if you’re looking for healthcare information, the Internet can be a resourceful vehicle for you to find reliable and trustworthy guides and advice on healthcare products and supplies. It all depends on how you find the information and who is dispensing the healthcare information.

If used properly, the Internet allows us to find healthcare information quickly and easily. Many website owners provide free healthcare information on a wide range of topics like diseases, health conditions, therapies, medical products and symptoms of diseases, etc. Lists of healthcare providers and healthcare institutions can also be found online, if you go to the right website.

Some people contend that the healthcare information provided by website owners is not reliable. This is true, to a certain extent. The healthcare information found online can NEVER be relied upon fully and the healthcare information printed out from websites cannot replace professional advice that your doctor or healthcare practitioner can give you. But the healthcare information found online can be used as a basis for your visits to your doctor. For instance, browsing through the healthcare information online prior to your visit to the doctor, you’re better prepared with information and questions that you might want to ask your doctor during the visit.

It’s either very difficult to verify, or almost impossible to verify the source of the healthcare information or advice available online. This is where reliability is in question. But most professional healthcare advice websites will give you the source of the advice, and with this, you can easily verify the source of the healthcare information.

One thing is for sure, consumers have to be extra careful about buying pharmaceutical products or medicines online. In fact, the act is dangerous enough for certain governments to consider making buying medication and healthcare supplies online illegal, unless you’ve got the ‘green light’ from your doctor and can prove that your doctor’s permission or prescription allows it. Even then, there’s a huge question mark hanging over our heads.

The fastest way to finding healthcare information online is through a search engine, of course. But the problem is that there’s no guarantee that the information you can find through the website is reliable or professional enough. You can ask your doctor or pharmacist for URLs of websites that they often visit. As medical practitioners, they won’t recommend healthcare websites if they don’t trust the information that is in the healthcare portal.

If your doctor is not Internet savvy and has no healthcare portal to recommend, you should ask around among your friends, relatives or colleagues to see if they can recommend a good healthcare portal.

Once you’re there, a good healthcare portal should have a list of their panel doctors listed. This way, you’ll know that whatever healthcare information that they disperse in the website is approved by a professional healthcare provider.

Fitness – the path to good health

January 4th, 2007

As far as being healthy is concerned, it clearly takes more than a well-sculpted physique or a radiant-looking skin to attest to your inner-self’s well-being. A lot of people mistake the being healthy as somewhat of a physical attribute. In reality, how we really take care of ourselves from the inside is what really counts and years from now, as other people’s steroid induced muscles starts to fade or their silicone injected butts tends to sag, your well taken care of health fitness will give you that radiant glow for years on end.

But what is health fitness exactly? Well there’s beauty fitness, wherein we take care of our appearance through the holistic and natural approach. Fitness, wherein we take care of our bodies, maintain its strength, flexibility and endurance — not mention its well-toned muscles. Health fitness on the other hand, is wherein we take care of ourselves from the inside, helping rid the body off viruses and bacteria that may cause us to get sick or have infections. Maintaining proper health fitness requires us to really go all-natural to stay fit and healthy.

Here are a few simple tips to help you get on track towards health fitness:

Get Busy
In today’s busy, busy world, an “active lifestyle” is often misconstrued as having tons of work, going from errand to errand but in reality, such a lifestyle can only cause our health fitness more damage than good. What I actually mean by getting busy is to make the most of our body, give it a little “exercise” whenever we can. Not all of us have the time (nor the money) for the gym, so taking the stairs instead of the elevator when going to work is a healthy and effective alternative. Also, when doing errands, try as much as possible to not use the car especially if it’s not that far. You not only save gas but you give yourself muscles a healthy boost. Moving around and making the most of what your body can do for you (without overdoing it of course!) doesn’t only keep you in shape, your health fitness at good levels but it also keeps you in a better mood.

Stress Busters
Speaking of keeping yourself in a good mood, there’s this common misconception that whenever you feel frustrated or angry, releasing and lashing out those pent up emotions are actually good for your health. Sounds familiar? Well, studies show that this is just a myth. People who have pent up anger and release it through hostile means only makes them more prone to strokes and heart attacks. Apparently, instead of helping you “release” those bad vibes, it actually just makes you more hostile and angry, possibly resulting to a stroke, heart disease, high-blood pressure and the like. To help you stay cool and your health fitness well, try to stay calm whenever faced with stress or anything that angers you. Avoiding anger or stressful situations is really the best way to keep your health fitness at its best.

These are just a couple of the many possible things that you can do to keep your health fitness levels at good levels. Try them out and soon enough you’ll soon find them to already be a part of your system. The path towards proper health fitness is really not that hard, all it takes is the correct mind-set and a lot of discipline. But you’re sure to be rewarded for your efforts in the years to come.

Have look around Fitness.Seekker.com to get you started or continue your path to health fitness.

Affiliate Program Zone – Find The Perfect Affiliate Program

December 27th, 2006

We have added a new search engine specifically for finding affiliate or associate programs. You can quickly find the perfect affiliate marketing program from a variety of locations including Clickbank, MSN, eBay, Amazon and Google sponsored results.

What exactly is affiliate marketing? Simply put, affiliate marketing is selling products on a commission basis. You own a business that advertises and sells products for other companies. You may have a product of your own to begin with or not.

Ten Ways To Make The Most Out Of An Affiliate Program

Any business, online or offline, that wouldn’t require any initial cash layout, would be a win-win situation.

This is what makes affiliate programs so much enticing. An affiliate program allows the affiliate marketer to act as a middleman between the consumer and the merchant, without having to add anything to the price of the product. The affiliate marketer is given a commission for every successful sale, and these percentages can be a substantial sum.

Many online citizens actually claim that they have given up their day jobs because of affiliate marketing. The amount they are earning from affiliate programs is significantly larger than their normal income.

If you wish to enter the very promising world of affiliate marketing, here are ten tips that would definitely help you maximize potential profit from the system.

1. Focus on a particular area of interest. You can’t sell products that target different markets. It is better to concentrate on one specific field, study its ins and outs, and work your way around its demands. To illustrate, if you choose dogs as an area of interest, research on the places where dog lovers gather online. Then look for an affiliate program that offers products which cater to their needs. A good place to start your search is AffiliateProgramZone.com

2. Choose an advantageous affiliate program. There are some things to consider when choosing the most profitable affiliate program. First among these is the salability-commission ratio. Usually, products which are difficult to sell offer a higher commission, whereas products that are easy to sell offer lower percentage cuts. Try to find an advantageous balance. Look for a product that is easy to sell and offers an attractive commission. Additionally, you should also consider the credibility and reliability of the affiliate program. Do they actually pay? Do they pay on time? Are their products worth something? These are but a few of the things you have to clarify before committing yourself to their terms.

3. Build a focused and content-filled site. You will primarily sell the affiliate products in your site. But if your site does not attract that many visitors, sales conversion is virtually impossible. Create a site that focuses on the area of interest you have chosen, and populate it with rich, informative content that people would love to read. Just like that famous line from the movie Field of Dreams, “build it and they will come.” Kind of, see number 4.

4. Market your site. People would not automatically know about your site, so you have to advertise it across the web. Submit it to search engines, exchange links with well-visited sites, and promote it in online communities. You have to spread the word that your site exists, and that it’s good.

5. Market the product. Once a consistent influx of visitors is established, it’s time to promote the affiliate product you’re selling. This is usually done through a sales page that can be accessed from your site. A sales page is an article full of praises or the product. Things like “it changed my life,” “the secret that they don’t want you to know,” “be a millionaire in one week,” and the likes are not uncommon lines for sales pages. But they work. Hire a professional ghostwriter to write a sales page for you.

6. Discard anonymity. Anonymity is a common thing on the internet, but it is bad for a business venture. People would rather deal with someone they know, rather than a username like B1GB3N or R2D2. Give your real name. You could choose to keep your contact information undisclosed however, until you become sure that the other party is likewise worthy of your trust.

7. Build a network. Befriend other affiliate marketers. Share information about the best deals, the most effective strategies, and perhaps, even some lists of potential buyers. Remember, the world is all about a network of contacts. Each person you know would eventually help you out at one point. There is no reason why the internet should be any different.

8. Build an email list. It is not enough that a visitor visits your site. You have to keep him. He may not purchase any of your available products now, but there’s no telling that he won’t decide to buy your future offerings. So build a email list by encouraging them to sign up. Create a free service that would make them keep in touch. Remember, a lost visitor is a lost sale.

9. Protect your links. Your affiliate link is the one thing that would inform your chosen affiliate program that you were the one who was responsible for a particular sale. Link theft is rampant these days, which is unfortunate, because in affiliate marketing, your link is your bread and butter. So protect your affiliate link at all costs.

10. Do not limit yourself to one affiliate program. Join as many as you can without losing the focus of what you want to sell. The greater the variety of the products you offer, the more chances that one will be bought. Joining affiliate programs is usually free, so might as well make the most out of it.

That’s it for now,
